Welcome to our training video page. The training videos on this page are not meant as a replacement for a student’s own work, but to assist in the more complex areas of Apprentice study. Divination has proved to be the biggest issue identified by students as an area where they felt they could do a bit more help. The video training sessions are audio with images of readings/teaching materials.

The Tree of Life layout is approached through a question that asks why a person is feeling as bad as they do, in order to identify cause and potential solution. It also addresses the frequent question as to whether the symptomatic picture is potential illness or potential magical attack. Two different decks are used to compare how each deck uses its vocabulary in these circumstances, and two different layouts show how more detailed information can be gained.

Lesson three - the Landscape layout in depth -
Using the Rider Waite Smith Deck and the Quareia Magicians Deck
Although this layout is not addressed in the Quareia course until the Initiate level training, it can be a useful layout to work with for Apprentices who have divination experience, or who wish to expand their skills once they are confident in the earlier layouts.
The Landscape Layout is an important magical layout to use in magical practice in order to track ones work, to identify the source of potential disturbance or interference, and to observe how major magical decisions would unfold if implemented. The layout will be explored through a single question. I will use a method of two decks worked with simultaneously which gives a better over view of a situation, and I will use The Quareia Magicians deck, and the RWS deck.

This reading looks at the overall life pattern of the magician Franz Bardon, to see the over all reason for his life, what effect he had on the world around him, and what happened to him after his death.
Quareia deck lecture 3 - the Landscape layout: a look at the creation of two Golden Dawn temples
Using the Landscape Layout, we will start by looking at the creation of the Golden Dawn Temple #5 - The Horus Temple. We then move on to look at creation of the Isis-Urania temple in London.
This exercise allows us to look at the way the Landscape layout works and how it can be used. It is a good layout to use for situational readings, and also to get a deeper and more magical overview of a situation, place or person.
